Content Ownership

Promptle Game Prompts

By submitting prompts in the Promptle game, you grant us the right to display your prompt on leaderboards and as examples for other users if your submission is successful. Champion prompts may be featured in the "Yesterday's Champion" section.

Chat History

Chat histories are retained for 30 days after your last interaction. After this period, message content is automatically deleted, while anonymized usage statistics may be retained for analytics purposes.

Account Data

User account data is retained until account deletion is requested. This includes your email, username, encrypted password, and associated content. Inactive accounts may be flagged for deletion after 12 months of inactivity.

Custom Chatbots

User-created chatbot configurations are retained until explicitly deleted by the creator or after 12 months of inactivity.

Promptle Game Data

We retain Promptle game data, including leaderboard entries and game statistics, for up to 30 days. Champion data (winning prompts and scores) may be retained for longer periods to maintain game history but will eventually be anonymized.

AI Model Integration

We use Meta's Llama 3 8B model through Ollama, an open-source platform for running language models, to generate responses. Your chat inputs are processed securely with appropriate privacy and security measures in place to protect your data.
