3. User Accounts and Content

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. All activities occurring under your account are your responsibility. User-created content, including custom chatbots, prompts, and other contributions, remain your intellectual property, but you grant BadGPT license to store, display, and utilize this content as part of our service.

4. Prohibited Uses

• Creation of chatbots that promote hate speech, discrimination, or harassment
• Generation of content involving exploitation of minors
• Creation of chatbots designed for fraud, scams, or deception
• Use for generating malware, hacking tools, or cyber attacks
• Creation of bots that assist in illegal activities
• Generation of content that violates intellectual property rights

5. Content Moderation

BadGPT maintains the right to review, flag, or remove any user-created chatbots that violate our terms of service. We employ both automated and manual monitoring systems to ensure compliance. Users can report problematic bots through our reporting system.

6. Content and Limitations

BadGPT generates AI-powered responses that may be inaccurate, offensive, or inappropriate. You understand that the platform is intended for entertainment purposes only and should not be relied upon for critical decision-making.

7. Liability

BadGPT, its developers, and affiliates disclaim all liability for any harm, loss, or damages arising from the use of this platform. Use at your own risk.

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless BadGPT against any claims, damages, or losses arising from chatbots they create or their use of the platform.

Under no circumstances shall BadGPT be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or in any way connected to your use of this platform, including but not limited to financial losses or data breaches.

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

1. Game Rules

Promptle is a word game where players attempt to craft prompts that make our AI respond with a specific target word. By playing Promptle, you agree to the following specific terms:

• Players must not use the target word in their prompts
• Players must not attempt to circumvent system restrictions through character substitution, spaces between letters, or other deceptive techniques
• Users agree that their prompts will be recorded and may be shown publicly if they achieve a winning position on the leaderboard
• BadGPT reserves the right to remove any prompt from the leaderboard that violates our content guidelines

2. User Authentication

To participate in the leaderboard system, users must create an account with BadGPT. Anonymous play is available, but scores will not be recorded or eligible for the leaderboard. When signed in:

• Users may select a custom username to appear on the leaderboard
• Usernames must not be offensive, misleading, or impersonate others
• BadGPT reserves the right to modify or remove inappropriate usernames
• Users can view and manage their own game statistics

3. Leaderboard and Competition

The Promptle leaderboard displays top players based on the fewest words used in winning prompts. By participating:

• Users accept that their username and score will be publicly visible
• The "Yesterday's Champion" feature will display the winning username and prompt from the previous day
• BadGPT uses automated systems to count words and determine rankings
• In case of ties, the submission with the fewest attempts will be ranked higher
• BadGPT reserves the right to reset the leaderboard or adjust scores in cases of system errors or unfair play

4. Intellectual Property

By submitting prompts to Promptle:

• You retain ownership of your prompts, but grant BadGPT a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to display them in the context of the game
• You agree that your winning prompts may be displayed to other users as examples
• You agree not to submit prompts that infringe on third-party intellectual property rights

5. Fair Play

BadGPT expects fair play in the Promptle game. The following behaviors are prohibited:

• Using automated scripts or bots to play the game
• Exploiting bugs or technical issues to achieve artificially low word counts
• Creating multiple accounts to improve chances of winning
• Sharing known working solutions with others before daily reset
• Submitting obscene, offensive, or inappropriate prompts

BadGPT reserves the right to remove users who engage in unfair play from the leaderboard and restrict their access to the game.
